Questions people ask

Is Chartoon free?

It's free to start, and you don't need any real money to learn or practice. In-app coins are virtual and you earn them by studying.

What language is the app in?

Persian, for now. This page is in English, but the lessons and the app are written in Persian.

I know nothing about trading. Is it for me?

That's exactly who it's for. The Trading basics course starts with what a financial market is and how to read a chart. If you already know some of it, test out of the easy units.

Do I need real money to practice?

No. The simulator runs on $10,000 of virtual money with prices from the live market. Stay away from real money until you're ready.

Does Chartoon give buy or sell signals?

No. Chartoon is for education only. It isn't a broker or a financial adviser, and nothing in it is investment advice.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. The web app runs in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. Android and iOS apps are on the way.

Do I need an account?

Not to start; your progress is saved on that device. With an account, your progress syncs across your devices and you can join the weekly league and duel your friends.
